Melinda Rinehart gave a a very informative presentation on Boxing Photography at our last meeting. She has been doing this for many years and really has the eye for what make an interesting boxing photograph and has the technical skills to make it happen. Melinda shared her photos with us and and gave some very practical tips on how to shoot under some challenging conditions. Thanks Melinda!
Worden’s Ledges was very interesting experience. The snow added some need contrast to what could have been some dull photography conditions. This location is in the Hinckley Reservation. What is most interesting about this area are the carvings in the rocks and cliffs.

The Eye
I will be presenting tonight’s program entitled “Urban Exploration”. To me UX involves finding the beauty in the abandoned and decaying structures in our urban and rural environments. I also think it’s a why to preserve history as these structures either slowly decay or are demolished for new construction or safety. Our meeting is at the Goodyear Heights Metro Park shelter at 7:30pm.

We have updated our look! Welcome to the re-designed website of the Metro Parks Photo Club.
Our photo walk at Camp Christopher on Nov. 14 went very well. Thanks to Maureen McGinty of the Metro Parks we got exclusive access to this interesting location near the Cuyahoga Valley. The weather was perfect and the turnout was one of the best all year!
